Frederic MICHEL-VERDIER

Founding Partner & CEO

Mr Michel-Verdier is the Founding Partner and CEO at Fair Market Value Capital partners. He is based in London.

Mr Michel-Verdier has over 25 years of successful experience in sourcing and executing multi-billion investments in infrastructure and in the financial advisory services industry.

Prior to the formation of Fair Market Value Capital Partners in 2019, Mr Michel-Verdier spent over 11 years at IFM Investors as an Executive Director where he was the Lead Partner for the acquisitions of Deep Container Terminal Gdansk (Poland / 2019), FCC Aqualia (Spain / 2018), Mersin International Port (Turkey / 2017), Veolia Energia Polska (Poland / 2010), Veolia Energia Warsaw (Poland / 2011), and involved in the acquisitions of 50Hertz Transmission (Germany / 2010).

Mr Michel-Verdier was Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board & Member of the Strategy Committee of Veolia Energia Polska (2010-2019) and held board positions at FCC Aqualia, Mersin International Port, Veolia Energia Lodz, Veolia Energia Warsaw, Wales and West Utilities, Dalkia Term, Dalkia Paliwa, and ALIS A28.

Previously, Mr Michel-Verdier had an 11-year career as an M&A banker at ING Barings in London and SG Corporate & Investment Banking in Paris, where he covered the utilities and transports sectors, among others. He also spent three years with Ernst and Young in Paris, where he was involved in audit and transaction services across a variety of sectors.

Mr Michel-Verdier holds a M.Sc. in Finance from Sorbonne University (I.A.E Paris) and a BA in Business Administration from Institut Superieur de Gestion in Paris.


Ruwantha VIDANAARACHCHI

Partner

Mr Vidanaarachchi is a Partner at Fair Market Value Capital partners.

He has over a decade long career in infrastructure principal investing. Mr Vidanaarachchi was most recently Senior Vice President at Gingko Tree Investment, the European investment arm of a leading Asian sovereign investor, with responsibility for infrastructure investments.

Prior to joining Gingko Tree Investment, Mr. Vidanaarachchi was an investment executive with IFM Investors based both in London and Melbourne, Australia. Mr. Vidanaarachchi worked closely withFair Market Value Capital Partners Founding Partner and CEO, Frederic Michel-Verdier, during their time together at IFM Investors.

Mr Vidanaarachchi holds a Bachelor of Engineering (IT) (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of Melbourne (Melbourne, Australia).
